我们的部门-教育学院的两个部门之一-吸引800多名学生。我们在所有学术级别和四个学习领域内提供学位课程：社区卫生与公共服务，咨询，教育领导力和运动机能学。该部门还设有两个非学位服务计划，一个在教育基金会中，一个在教育心理学与研究中。运动机能学专业的学生可以从以下四个方面之一进行选择：运动科学，健身领导力，运动生物能学或体育教师资格证书。
Kinesiology graduates work with individuals, groups, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to apply the principles of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and psychomotor behavior to improve health, function, and performance. Our program is centered on the latest evidence-based research and the standards set by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, our physical education concentration is based on current research and the standards and recommendations of the Society of Health and Physical Education (SHAPE America).<br><br>At the undergraduate level, we offer concentrations in Exercise Science, Exercise Bioenergetics, Fitness Leadership, and Physical Education Teacher Certification. Minors in kinesiology include Athletic Coaching and Exercise Science. We also have an Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's program that allows undergraduate students to take courses that will count toward their undergraduate and graduate programs.<br><br>At the graduate level, we offer master's degrees in kinesiology with concentrations in Exercise Physiology or Physical Education Teacher Certification. For the physical education concentration, we offer both traditional and alternative tracks. Additionally, we also offer an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in education with a concentration in physical education.
