国际学生入学条件
Admission is competitive. Applicants must meet both the competitive admission average for the specific program and present specific required courses with the minimum required grades. In addition to meeting general admission requirements, admission to the Bachelor of Health and Physical Education requires the following specific high school courses (or equivalents).
Applicants in all admission categories must present:
English Language Arts 30 - 1 - minimum grade 60%
Math 30 -1 or 30-2 - minimum grade 50%
Biology 30 - minimum grade 50%
Competitive admission average
Admission to Mount Royal is competitive, meaning students with higher grades will be considered first.
High School Applicant: competitive admission average will be calculated on two highest Group A courses.
Mature Applicant: competitive admission average will be calculated on two highest Group A courses.
Post-secondary Applicant: competitive Grade Point Average (GPA) will be calculated on the four most recently completed transferable post-secondary courses (minimum 12 credits)
Final admission average
High School Applicant: must present a minimum admission average of 65%, calculated on the five appropriate Grade 12 courses. Must also present the required courses and minimum grades listed above.
Mature Applicant: must present the required courses and minimum grades listed above.
Post-secondary applicant: must present a minimum admission Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 on the eight most recently completed transferable post-secondary courses (minimum 24 credits)

Focused on the prevention and care of injuries, athletic therapists work closely with athletes and active individuals to contribute to their overall health. The Athletic Therapy program is designed to meet accreditation requirements of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association, the body that ensures athletic therapy education has the overall resources to produce an entry-level professional who can meet accepted standards of athleticactive patient care. The program also is designed to meet the accreditation requirements of the Canadian Council of Undergraduate Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators (CCUPEKA), the body that ensures quality and consistency in physical education degrees in Canada. Graduates are prepared to take the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association board exam or follow a career in a related health-care field.
