国际学生入学条件
High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent, including Academic Grade 12 Biology.
International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS Academic Test) minimum score of 6.0 on each test (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum test scores of 80 on the Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT), 60 on the Paper-Delivered Test, or 550 on the Paper-Based Test.
Official transcripts You must submit your official transcript(s) for courses required for admission. We request verification of your complete academic history, including any college or university you attended
Interim transcripts If youre currently enrolled in courses required for admission, you must submit an interim transcript. Your official final grades must be submitted by the deadline specified in your admission letter.
Transcripts must be emailed to Admissions at documents@nscc.ca by the issuing institution. Official transcripts may also be dropped off in a sealed envelope at any NSCC campus or mailed to NSCC Admissions using the address to the left.
If youre a current Nova Scotia high school student, please provide your Nova Scotia student ID number (can be found on your high school transcript or in PowerSchool) when you apply. We'll retrieve your transcript on your behalf.

Dental assistants work as part of the oral health team, assisting dentists and dental specialists, carrying out direct patient care and instructing patients in the principles and practices of good oral health.<br><br>The program introduces you to dental science, the foundation of clinical practice and the skills and theory used by dental assistants. You learn how to: Prepare dental instruments and materials, Sterilize dental equipment, Create dental radiographs and images<br>Polish teeth and apply fluoride, Apply desensitizing agents and dental sealants, Provide patients with oral hygiene advice<br>Schedule appointments for services and manage patient records.<br>Career options<br>Many graduates work as dental assistants in a dental practice, some pursue work in special practices such as orthodontics or dental surgery and other grads work with dental supply companies or within dental office administration.<br>Graduates are qualified to work as dental assistants in both general and specialty dental practices.<br>Graduates must pass the National Assisting Dental Exam to be eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia.
