药学前课程为计划就读药学学校的学生提供了良好的基础。入学后，每个学生都会与专业前顾问一起工作，该顾问会帮助学生制定策略以选择课程，确定合适的部门专业（学位课程）并浏览药房的申请流程。在第二或第三学期的学习中，每个学生都会选择一个专业领域，并指派一名教职顾问制定一项计划，以满足该专业的学位要求。
The Pre-Pharmacy Program provides an excellent foundation for students who plan to attend pharmacy school. Upon admission, each student works with a pre-professional advisor, who helps the student develop a strategy for selecting courses, identifying an appropriate departmental major (degree program), and navigating the pharmacy school application process. During the second or third semester of study, each student selects a major field of study, and a faculty advisor is assigned to develop a plan to meet degree requirements for that major. The University offers a variety of activities and organizations that enable students to participate in volunteer activities, internships, and community service. Other opportunities include the University's Honors Program and study abroad programswhich range from summer programs to a single semester or a full academic year in over 56 countries.
