The freshman Indiana State University application is for entering freshmen who are (or soon will be) high school graduates and have not attended another college after graduating from high school. High school students may apply to Indiana State University any time after completion of their junior year in high school.

English Language Requirements:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum iBT score of 61; a minimum CBT score of 173; or a minimum paper-based score of 500
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum score of 6.0 (or higher)
  • ELS Language Training Program: successful completion of level 112 (or higher)

The Applied Medicine Program provides the classroom knowledge and clinical skills needed for advanced professional degree programs in areas such as athletic training, physical therapy, physician’s assistant programs, chiropractic, medicine, and occupational therapy. Your Applied Medicine coursework will provide you with a strong theoretical foundation in the basic sciences and rehabilitative medicine, as well as the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for effective patient care. You will obtain practical, hands-on skills through clinical experiences at an assigned clinical education site.<br><br>Your advisor will assist you with career paths, professional development, and other issues related to your professional growth.
