Students must hold a baccalaureate degree and a certificate of completion of the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) from an ACEND-accredited program. The GRE, MCAT, and GMAT scores could be waived, considering if the applicant had a 3.0 or higher during their undergraduate program.
Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable, faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts, we have them on record. Copies of transcripts or transcripts not received in a sealed envelope from the university are considered unofficial. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts. We strongly encourage electronic submission of documents. Official transcripts should show a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In exceptional cases, applicants whose undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 may be admitted.
For the TOEFL, a minimum score of 79 on the iBT
For the IELTS, a minimum score of 6.0 is required.

Focused on health care administration, Loyola University Chicago's MS in Dietetics program prepares you to evaluate and enhance health programs. If you are interested in an MS in nutrition and dietetics that prepares you to lead in health care settings, Loyola's program might be for you.The MS in Dietetics can be pursued full time or part time. Classes are held on weekday evenings at Loyola's Health Sciences Campus.<br>The Dietetics MS program is for registered dietitians only. To apply, you must either hold a certificate of completion of the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) from an ACEND-accredited program or be accepted in the Loyola Dietetic Internship program. If you already hold a valid registration, you are not required to have supervised practice or practicum hours.<br>Loyola's MS in Dietetics is designed to prepare registered dietitians for health care program evaluation and administration. At Loyola, you'll learn how to design and implement systems that lead to desired health outcomes.<br>Specific job options include: Health care administrator, Health care program evaluator, Clinical dietitian, Nutritionist, Nutrition researcher<br>Program coordinator, Community health educator<br>Because Loyola is a member of the Jesuit network of 27 colleges and universities nationwide, our graduates can access career advising services, resume and interviewing assistance, career fairs and events, and employment listings in our Career Services center, as well as at career centers at other U.S. Jesuit colleges and universities.
