One semester of high school biology and computer science are strongly advised. 课程简介

As the health care industry continues to grow and expand, the demand for health information technicians also increases. Employment is expected to grow much faster than average through the year 2024 (Bureal of Labor Statistics 2016) because of the rapid growth in tests, treatments and procedures available. Technicians will be needed to work with computer databases and other tasks related to electronic health records. Many graduates are employed in hospitals, but job growth is projected to be greatest in physicians' offices and clinics, nursing homes and home health agencies.
