In addition to the application materials required by the Graduate School applicants must submit supplementary application materials required by the department
The Graduate School requires a course-by-course evaluation report showing completion of a bachelors and a graduate degree if required by the program that is equivalent to a US degree from an international college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
Students enter Graduate School with no academic standing and are expected to earn at least a GPA of 3.0 in their first semester to be placed in Academic Good Standing Continuing students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in all graduate course work at UNCG to remain in Academic Good Standing.
Academic Transcripts - For US transcripts please follow the normal protocol from your institution when ordering official transcripts For Undergraduate Admissions the International Recruitment and Admissions Office accepts stamped copies of high school transcripts from US community colleges.
IBT TOEFL 79 TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition score report also accepted same score and paper based - 550.
IELTS 6.5 IELTS Indicator also accepted same band score.
Duolingo English Test DET - 110.
ELS - 112 score report.
Kaplan International Higher Intermediate Level.
ELPs must not be more than 2 years old from the date of application submission.

The M.S. Program in Kinesiology with a concentration in Applied Neuromechanics is primarily intended for students who wish to gain an advanced knowledge base in the areas of biomechanics and motor behavior. Additionally there is a heavy research emphasis with all students required to complete a thesis.<br><br>The Applied Neuromechanics (research or thesis track) and Sports Medicine (clinical or non-thesis track) areas integrate knowledge across the fields of Biomechanics, Motor Behavior, Sports Medicine, and Athletic Training. This collaborative environment prepares practitioners, researchers, and educators to reduce injury risk, return to normal function following injury or disease, and improve health and performance for physically active individuals of all ages.
