The Master of Arts in Health Evaluation provides unique training in health, methods, statistics, and evaluation, preparing you to develop, study, and evaluate health interventions. Our program builds strong core competence in epidemiologic and public health principles, positioning graduates for careers at managed care and other health provider organizations, mental health departments, and federal agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This distinctive program examines the theoretical underpinning of public health while providing the technical skills that allow you to evaluate the effectiveness of current and future health interventions. Curriculum balances public health-related content and concepts with rigorous methodological and statistical training in the ''logic of evaluation,'' enabling you to systematically assess health-related programs and policies. You'll conduct research alongside renowned faculty from CGU's distinguished School of Community and Global Health and its Division of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences.
