To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must submit documentation that they have the equivalent of one of the following:
high school equivalency certificate (GED)
Associate or higher degree
standard high school diploma
If you graduated from a high school outside of the United States, your transcripts, graduation certificates and/or exam results must be evaluated by a NACES-approved agency to prove equivalency with a U.S. high school diploma.
Official Transcripts from all institutions attended be sent to HCC in a sealed envelope or electronically directly from the issuing institution.
TOEFL score of 61 (iBT) or higher
IELTS Academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher
iTEP Academic score of 4.0 or higher
STEP Eiken minimum score of Grade 2A or higher
SAT scores (college-level reading): Old SAT section score of 440 or new SAT test score of 24 or higher
ACT scores (college-level reading) of 19 or higher

课程简介

Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists works alongside physicians to diagnose and treat diseases of the heart and blood vessels using X-ray imaging. These technologists are imaging specialists who also train to act as surgical assistants and circulators during cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures. Their duties include assessment and care of the patient during the invasive procedure, surgically scrubbing to assist physician, administration of medication under the physician's supervision, controlling procedural instruments and imaging technologies, and documenting/recording the procedural activities. These specialists are trained in invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures, cardiac and vascular invasive interventions, emergency cardiac care, structural heart repair, and invasive cardiac electrophysiology.
