The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance the administration and delivery of health services. By providing our students excellent instruction and the opportunity for hands on experience, the program endeavors to create students that are assets to the field of healthcare. Our mission aligns with Old Dominion University's mission to serve students and enrich Virginia, the nation, and the world through the creation of a rigorous academic program, strategic partnerships, and active civic engagement.<br><br>Vision: The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences' major aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that will enable them to function as entry level health service administrators, prepare for continuing graduate education, and enhance the abilities of students with existing professional health care experience. Our program will also promote diversity and embrace the military community.
