Become an advocate for social and economic justice. With a B.S. in Human Services from Rivier, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to advance as a human services professional. Poverty, homelessness, substance misuse, environmental disasters, and access to healthcare—these challenges and others have created a greater need for qualified human services professionals throughout the world. Rivier’s Human Services program prepares you to address these challenges and to help others reach their full potential. By developing your strengths and skills, you will aid in cultivating child, family, and community well-being during your college career and beyond. Our Human Services program encompasses coursework in human services, psychology, sociology, and social work. Classes focus on social problems, health psychology, family dynamics, psychological disorders, social welfare policy, and more.
