Students should possess a bachelor's degree or master's degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field from an accredited institution. Students should pass a minimum of 12 semester hours in English, Creative Writing, or a related field beyond freshman composition. Demonstrated equivalent literary training or experience as determined by the Director of the MFA in Creative Writing Program.

English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 102 (IBT), paper based – 610, Computer based – 253; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53.
