Transcripts must be translated by the high school or an international credential evaluating agency. World Education Services is recommended.
If you are a native English speaker or study in a secondary English-speaking school, SAT or ACT are required. International Students whose native language is not English must submit proof of English language proficiency.
The following are ways in which you can satisfy the language proficiency requirement: TOEFL, IELTS or iTEP scores, or IB score of 5 or higher on the English A 1 or 2 exams. Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, professor, or counselor.

课程简介
English majors will hone their analytical and communication skills, which are essential to any career. They will also develop an appreciation of mankind's plights, achievements, fears, and desires as they are reflected in literature. Our English department provides extensive instruction in composition and literary analysis. We believe that focused discussions in small classrooms about good books and good writing provide the best kind of education for students of literature. We also work individually with students on their own writing endeavors and interpretations of literary texts. Several of our majors have published their scholarship in journals or have presented scholarly and creative works at literary conferences.
