All students meet individually with their teacher every week for personalized progress reports to ensure maximum progress. Students improve their skills by focusing on a variety of topics, such as: technology, science, business, culture and society, current events, art and pop culture, and food and travel. Improve English with Electives and enjoy your city. This intensive program includes 20 American English lessons per week plus five specialized lessons per week to enhance fluency in English and develop your confidence. Your specialized electives focus on lively discussion, reading, and writing about cultural issues, local news and events, and integrated excursions. Electives include: Speaking and Pronunciation, English Through American Films, American Culture and Current Events, among others. The lesson program includes an additional 5 elective classes in a variety of topics such as conversation, pronunciation, writing and TOEFL preparation.
