Zoology is the natural science that focuses on the study of animals. The zoology major can be tailored to meet the needs of students interested in the health sciences, animal physiology, cell and molecular biology, ecology or environmental studies, or evolution and systematics. It is possible to complete a Zoology Major while earning either the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Students may double major in Botany and Zoology, but in that case only nine credits of the Advanced Hours requirement may be used for both degrees. Students may not double major in Biology and Zoology. You can tailor this major for your interests in health sciences, cell and molecular biology, ecology, environmental studies, or evolution and systematics.
