国际学生入学条件
Students must have a strong background in family and consumer sciences, youth and/or human development, or a related social and/or behavioral science. A minimum of 18 credits in these areas of study is required.
You must submit (scan/upload) copies of official transcripts/documents (for institutions outside the U.S. documents may include marksheets, record of courses, degree/study certificate, original diploma, etc) from all post-secondary institutions attended and official English translation (if the language of instruction is not English). If admission is offered and accepted, then you will need to submit the official transcripts (or international equivalent as stated above) directly to the Graduate School.
Your application will include:
Contact information and background data on your education,
Three short essay responses to questions that address your preparation and goals for enrollment in the AYFCE program
Three recommendations that include a ratings form and a space for extensive comments from your recommender
Transcripts (uploaded/scanned into the application as indicated above)
Applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test (verbal, quantitative, analytical writing). You should arrange to have an official report of your GRE general test scores sent to us.
All international applicants must take and submit scores for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System), with the exceptions noted below. The minimum acceptable score for the TOEFL is 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test, or a total score of 80 with a 19 on the speaking section for the Internet-based test (iBT). Applicants with iBT speaking scores between 15 and 18 may be considered for provisional admission, with Graduate School approval, which requires an institutional test of English proficiency upon the first semester of enrollment and, if necessary, remedial course work. The minimum composite score for the IELTS is 6.5.

This Master's of Education graduate program focuses on educational programming for youth and families within communities. The curriculum prepares students to assume leadership roles in educational and human services organizations. As a community-based educator, extension educator, or a human service professional you might be interested in graduate education to improve your career opportunities. Students are required to take 31 to 35 credits and write either a professional paper or thesis.
