This nationally accredited degree program prepares students who are interested in promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing quality of life for individuals and communities. Health educators work in a variety of work settings that include nonprofit community health organizations, public health agencies, worksite and health promotion programs, schools, and voluntary health agencies. Students who wish to pursue a profession within public health can find additional information through the Health, Human Performance, and Recreation Department within the School of Education.
