The undergraduate Physiology major emphasizes the integrated biological functions of the human body ranging from the cellular to the organ system level. New students entering the University of Arizona should apply for admission directly to the Office of Admissions and specify their major as Physiology and Medical Sciences in the Department of Physiology, College of Medicine – Tucson. Before registering for classes, new students should attend an orientation. Physiology and Medical Sciences students have the ability to strategically choose their elective courses to customize their degree.
