Official results of the Graduate Record Examinations and TOEFL scores (sent to department)
Three letters of recommendation (uploaded online by recommenders)
Your CV or resume with your timeline that includes your teaching, research and/or industrial experiences, a publications list, and any college or professional honors and awards
TOEFL: The minimum TOEFL score is 79-80 for internet-based tests. The average admission score is around 100.
The IELTS is accepted as an alternative to the TOEFL iBT. The minimum IELTS score for admission is 6.5.

Our graduate program is multidisciplinary, integrating biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, structural biology, cell biology, and genetics, along with organic, inorganic, and analytical chemistry, to enable you to study a diverse set of biological problems. We offer a biochemistry doctoral degree and graduate minors in multiple fields of study pertaining to your dissertation research.<br><br>Our curriculum is topical. We provide a strong foundation in biochemistry based on a considerable breadth of study, including opportunities for specialization and success in the research laboratory. Specialization is achieved in the context of integrated research opportunities that align with subgroups of core faculty in these areas: Genome Biochemistry, Supramolecular Complexes, and Chemical and Physical Biology.
