Our Biochemistry program lets you study the chemistry of the living world and is great combination if you enjoy physical and chemical sciences.<br>The biochemistry curriculum is designed to help you pursue graduate work in chemistry or biology, and/or acquire the skills necessary for a career in healthcare and science, such as:<br><br>Dentistry<br>Medicine<br>Pharmaceutical development<br>Pharmacy<br>Medical research<br>Veterinary medicine<br>Demonstrate a firm foundation in the fundamentals and application of current chemical theories including those in analytical, biochemical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistries.<br>Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to transmit complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.<br>Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, and quantitative and analytical reasoning skills. <br>Carry out chemical experiments properly, troubleshoot experiments, appropriately record and interpret the results, and recognize what constitutes reasonable data.<br>Use standard laboratory equipment, modern instrumentation, and classical techniques to carry out experiments. Follow proper procedures and regulations for safe handling and use of chemicals.<br>Function successfully as a part of a team, exhibit good citizenship in group interactions, and be an active contributor to group projects.
