The graduate program you are applying to may require two to four letters of recommendation.

The Department seeks promising students for graduate training in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Our program is research-intensive, providing both broad biochemical knowledge and deep training in specific research disciplines and techniques. In addition to competitive stipends, our graduate students enjoy access to individualized faculty-student mentoring, cutting edge research facilities, and a stimulating multicultural environment. Graduates from our program go on to positions in industry, government, education, public communication, or to develop their own independent research labs.<br><br>They offer Master’s and Ph.D. degrees, as well as a Bioinformatics Certificate program. All of our programs develop critical thinking, scientific communication, and leadership skills. Our Ph.D. and traditional Master’s programs emphasize research and research skills, while our other programs focus on additional career opportunities.
