The Master of Science in Bioinformatics supports the education of students interested in a career in bioinformatics or clinical research. Our graduates master core competencies that allow them to participate in biological research, clinical and population health research, or research to develop innovative information systems. We work passionately to equip the next generation of health researchers by emphasizing patient-oriented research in the context of state-of-the-art medical informatics.<br>The Computational Emphasis specializes in the development and use of the next generation of bioinformatics tools and software.<br>Graduates will be effective members of multi-disciplinary teams in industry or academia.<br>Some of the graduates will engage in advanced studies in informatics.<br>Learning Outcomes:<br>Graduates of the Computational Emphasis will have the skills to use and develop bioinformatic tools and resources.
