The Burnett School offers a series of Bachelor's degree programs in Biomedical Sciences. This thorough, but flexible undergraduate program provides excellent preparation for graduate education in the life sciences or professional degree programs. The coursework can prepare students for schools of medicine, dentistry, veterinary, pharmacy, optometry, podiatry, chiropractic practice, or to train to be a physician assistant. The Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Sciences meets all the admission requirements for medical/health professional schools and also prepares students for entry into the technical work force in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry, as well as to support academic research endeavors in federally funded research programs.
