Humber's Project Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate program prepares you to manage complex projects and programs. Given the recognition that project management skills and competencies have to the success of all organizations, this program attracts candidates from diverse backgrounds and industries.<br><br>In just two semesters, you will learn the skills needed to move a project through conceptualization, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing. You will thoroughly explore the key stages of the project life cycle, project economics and financial analysis, risk and stakeholder management, and professional best practices through a comprehensive project delivery model. You will also learn the importance of people, processes, and business/strategic alignment to project success. Students also learn about the adaptive/agile approach to product management and the various framework that fall under the agile umbrella. Trends in project management including cutting-edge technology and electives in areas such as information technology, construction and data analytics are also covered. This program culminates in an experiential learning opportunity or capstone where students have the opportunity to examine a real-world project with an external industry sponsor and provide recommendations on how the project design, planning and implementation and outcomes could be improved. This program has several employer and networking opportunities designed to increase a student's opportunities for employment upon graduation.
