The MPPPM, incorporating coursework from plant pathology, entomology, and weed science, is an interdisciplinary non-thesis degree program that produces graduates with the academic and technical skills to develop integrated plant protection systems for rural and urban enviro<br>The Master's of Plant Protection and Pest Management (MPPPM) is a professional, non-thesis degree program in plant protection, designed to produce graduates with a comprehensive academic background in plant pathology, entomology, weed science and crop fertility. The program is offered jointly by the Departments of Plant Pathology, Crop and Soil Sciences, and Entomology at the University of Georgia's Athens, Tifton, and Griffin campuses. The overall goal of the MPPPM is to help students acquire the academic and technical skills to develop integrated plant protection systems for rural and urban environments. The program can be completed within one year one semester of full-time study, and is also part of several Double Dawg 4 1 programs.
