The University of Notre Dame Australia's Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Bachelor of Health Promotion double degree could give you valuable skills sought by employers. Employers value graduates with a broad education and specific skills in certain areas. By combining studies in two or more locations, you can increase your job prospects, extend your general education and pursue more than one interest. A Biomedical Science program at Notre Dame is a gateway to a rewarding career in various health-related fields. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science consists of a prescribed series of courses designed to impart theoretical and practical skills that form a reasonable basis for subsequent professional employment. This degree is also excellent pre-clinical preparation for postgraduate studies in the health and medical fields.

The Bachelor of Health Promotion focuses on promoting individual and community health and well-being. You will clearly understand how social and other health determinants impact health and well-being and the effectiveness of socio-environmental, population, and community approaches to health promotion. Throughout the course, you explore the psychological aspects of health behaviour, behavioural aspects of change, health promotion principles, frameworks, planning and implementation, social marketing, principles of community development, project management, and health-related research and evaluation.
