课程简介
With resources scarce and demands ever-changing, economics provides a vital framework for understanding how choices are made in everyday life - from personal spending to global trade. At the heart of this discipline are analytical thinkers who help businesses thrive, inform policy decisions, and tackle some of society’s biggest challenges. If you’re looking to dive deeper into the data-driven, analytical world of economics, the Graduate Diploma of Economic Analytics is a focused, forward-thinking first step.Throughout the program, you’ll be introduced to economics at an advanced undergraduate or graduate level. That means diving deeper into key aspects of modern economics – from policy development, forecasting and econometrics to microeconomics and macroeconomics. Since data plays such a significant role in economics, you’ll also build your skills in data visualisation and analysis – and can take part in coding labs as well. You’ll complete the program with a clearer idea of the ins and outs of contemporary economic thinking today – and of the future trends that are shaping the industry too. You can choose to take this understanding back into your business career or expand your knowledge through a master’s (as you’ll be studying master’s level units as part of this course).
