A-Levels Required grades: AAA Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels. Must include grade A in Mathematics and Physics. A AB will also be accepted. International Baccalaureate 35 points including 665 at Higher Level. Must include grade 6 in Higher Level Mathematics and Physics. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total. Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 36 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 9 at Merit. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Mathematics awarded at Distinction, and at least 15 Level 3 credits in Physics awarded at Distinction. IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill. TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills. Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 69 overall with a minimum of 62 in each communicative skill.

Biophysics is an interdisciplinary field that has led to some of the most significant developments in modern science. Our Physics with Biophysics MSci course will give you a deep understanding of fundamental aspects of the physics of life. Approximately one quarter of the course is biophysics related – i.e. the application of physics, mathematics and computing to understand the workings of living systems. Through coursework and supervised research projects you will gain a breadth of skills and knowledge in a diverse academic and research environment.
