环境科学是通过整合各种物理和生物科学（自然科学）学科来理解我们所生活的自然世界的环境系统研究。由于人类是影响我们环境的不可或缺的物种，因此研究人类感知，经济学和政策的学科面向环境（社会科学和人文科学）也被整合到环境研究中寻找环境问题的解决方案中。随着对环境的要求随着人口的增长而不断增加，对自然资源的谨慎管理要求综合多种学科。我们的专业提供灵活的各种学科组合来满足学生的兴趣。AB适用于对社会科学和人文科学感兴趣并考虑经济学，法律或政策方面的研究生或专业课程的学生。
Environmental science is the study of environmental systems by integrating various disciplines of physical and biological sciences (Natural Sciences) to understand the natural world we live in. Because human is an integral species affecting our environment, disciplines that study human perceptions, economics, and policies towards the environment (Social Sciences and Humanities) also are integrated in finding solutions to environmental problems in environmental studies. As the demands on the environment continue to increase with a growing human population, careful stewardship of natural resources requires the integration of multiple disciplines. Our majors offer flexibility in the combination of various disciplines to fit the student's interests. The AB is appropriate for students interested in the Social Sciences and Humanities and considering graduate or professional programs in economics, law, or policy.
