Learn about the environmental challenges we face as a society and gain the skills needed to overcome them to make positive change. Study how human activities affect the world, then put that knowledge into action. Conduct community-based research. Develop action plans and work on local ecological restoration projects.<br>Environmental Studies (ES) students are seeking whole-systems solutions for a socially just and ecologically healthy future.<br>Our program is unique for the way that it integrates knowledge from Indigenous land-caring practices, the ecological sciences, and critical social sciences to address complex challenges such as climate change.<br>This integrative approach means that our students are prepared to develop solutions that promote both ecological flourishing and social justice.<br>Our students turn knowledge into action.
