Upgrade your credential and refine your industry skillset with our applied degree. Our Bachelor of Applied Science in environmental management is unique to Lakeland College. If you already have an environmental credential, take our upskilling career-focused pathway. If you have a diploma, you’ll elevate your knowledge and skills. If you have a degree, you’ll gain work-force ready field skills. You’ll spend your first 8 months at Lakeland building technical and field skills. Career-focused coursework and field labs run September to April. An 8-month practicum with an employer follows. Lakeland provides support in finding a practicum host. Most run May through December. Most are paid. After your practicum, you complete the program with a capstone presentation in late winter. Capstone audiences include instructors, classmates, peers and industry.
