Students interested in forestry may take their first two years of coursework at NKU and then finish work for the bachelor’s degree in forestry at a forestry school. Realizing that many students do not go on to forestry school for one reason or another, the department recommends that students follow a B.S. or B.A. track. By so doing, it is likely that little if any credit will be lost if a change of direction does occur. In addition to pre-professional requirements, students will have to complete general education requirements for the school they will attend.<br><br>At the earliest opportunity, students should schedule an appointment with an advisor and consult the catalogs or websites of any forestry schools that they plan to consider.
