Students of the Material Science and Engineering program (MSE) program have an opportunity to enroll in a wide variety of courses depending on their background, interest, and future goals. The MSE program prepares graduate students for industrial positions in related fields and for Ph.D. programs at other universities. Through the program, the students learn the application of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering to solve materials science-related problems. The program emphasis is on the fundamentals of materials science to enable students to practice as engineers and scientists to build a better tomorrow through innovations in materials science and engineering.
