An Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with acceptable standing, AND
An overall average in completed Grade 12 U and/or M courses which meets or exceeds the minimum set by the specific program to which you applied, AND
Satisfactory completion of six Grade 12 U and/or M courses including the subject requirements for your chosen program.
IELTS – International English Language Testing System-6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening), results valid for 2 years
TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language-IBT: 86 overall with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening), valid for 2 years
CAE – Cambridge Advanced English (C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency)-180 overall with a minimum score of 176 in each component. Valid for 2 years.
PTE – Pearson Test of English Academic-60 overall with minimum score of 60 in Writing and Speaking, valid for 2 years
Duolingo English Test-115 for all direct-entry undergraduate programs

The Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences program is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that will give students a strong foundation in both engineering and health sciences. The Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences (iBioMed) program is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that will give students a strong foundation in both engineering and health sciences. Students will have a common first year before choosing to specialize in either health sciences or engineering in their second year.Bachelor of Engineering and Biomedical Engineering (B.Eng. BME) degree: Learn fundamental skills and techniques in both biomedical engineering and chosen core discipline. Eight engineering disciplines to choose from (Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Engineering Physics, Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Software). The admissions into one of these engineering disciplines will be based off of first year academic performance and the availability of space in the discipline.<br><br>Admission to either the B.H.Sc. (Honours) Health, Engineering Science and Entrepreneurship (HESE) specialization or the B.Eng.BME Biomedical Engineering (BME) specialization requires successful completion of all non-elective Level I IBEHS courses with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0. <br><br>All students who successfully complete the first year of the program will have a space in one of the two degree options. As enrolment is limited in each of the two degree options (HESE or BME), where there is more demand than spaces, competition will be based on first-year academic achievement. Note: BME is a five-year program, while HESE is a four-year program (effective September 2022).
