国际学生入学条件
To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission) and satisfy the below requirements:
You must have a 3.0 weighted GPA in the academic core courses in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada, Reno. The academic courses include: English, math, social sciences and natural sciences. A weighted GPA takes into account the extra difficulty of honors, AP or IB classes.
If you are not admissible, you will be offered enrollment to a Nevada NSHE Community College. You will be offered admission to a Nevada university once you have completed a minimum of 24 college transferable semester credits at a NSHE Community College and have a 2.5 GPA in all your coursework.
If you are a student who does not meet our academic GPA requirements, but have graduated with an Advanced Diploma from a Nevada high school, you will be granted admission to the University. You must also meet the 13 core course requirements in English, mathematics, social studies and natural sciences to be considered for admission.
You must submit your final, official high school transcripts to support your application for admission.

The Geological Engineering Program produces professionals uniquely skilled in geology and engineering to solve environmental challenges generated by rock, water, soil and snow.<br><br><br>Learning outcomes<br><br>Graduates of the bachelor's degree in geological engineering will be trained to:<br><br> Apply physics, chemistry, hydrology, geology and engineering science to understanding the Earth<br> Recognize and cope with environmental hazards such as earthquakes, floods and landslides<br> Acquire natural resources while preserving the environment<br><br>Our program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Accreditation ensures that the program has clearly articulated Program Educational Objectives for graduates, directly assessable Student Outcomes for program majors, and publicly available enrollment and graduation data.
