As a graduate of the MS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, you will be able to use basic engineering concepts flexibly in a variety of contexts. At the master's level, there are five concentrations for Civil Engineering in Construction management, Environmental and Water Systems, Geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineering, Structural engineering, Transportation engineering. Students enrolled in the MS in Civil Engineering have the opportunity to also pursue one of the many engineering graduate certificate options in addition to or in combination with this program. Students should consult their faculty advisor regarding these options. The MS in Civil Engineering can be combined with a Gordon Engineering Leadership certificate. There are five concentrations within the graduate Masters program in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department. Structural Engineering is one concentration leading to a of Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
