B.S. degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university in computer science, life sciences, electrical engineering, physics, or related areas.
If you have a degree in engineering, an accredited program is one that is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
If you have completed degrees in computer science or a closely related field, an accredited program is one taken at a college that is regionally accredited, such as the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
If you have an international baccalaureate degree or diploma which is equivalent to three years of undergraduate study in the U.S. in computer science, engineering, or a related area, you may be eligible to be admitted into a bridge option in your intended graduate program.
Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.85 for full matriculation.
Submit GRE scores
Copies of undergraduate transcripts for all schools attended. All final, official transcripts must be received prior to the start of your first semester.

Get the analytical and practical tools youll need to succeed in the biotechnology and bioengineering industries. The M.S. in Bioengineering combines coursework in engineering theory, life sciences, and entrepreneurship with laboratory work that fuses discipline-specific topics and hands-on research.<br>Youll gain advanced competencies to simulate electrical/electronic circuits, program microprocessors/embedded systems/FPGAs, model and implement control/communication systems, and process data/signals/systems. Our master's program is suitable for students with a variety of backgrounds including engineering, life sciences, and medicine.<br>Youll have the opportunity to work on funded research projects for the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, alongside faculty at New York Tech's Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC). Youll participate in workshops with leaders in the field and other professional networking opportunities.<br>You can also take advantage of additional extracurricular programs through our many student engineering clubs. International F-1 students who successfully complete this degree are eligible for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension to work in the U.S. in an area directly related to their area of study immediately upon completing the customary 12-month post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT).
