课程简介
城市是世界的经济引擎。高技能的专业人员
Cities are the economic engines of the world. With over 50% of the world's population now living in cities, the health and wealth of nations depend strongly on how well cities function. With global urbanization trends, climate change, limitations of natural resources, and sustainability concerns, urban centres around the world will encounter increasing challenges in managing their infrastructure and in delivering high levels of service to ensure the well-being of their citizens.<br>What is needed are professionals with both technical expertise and a fundamental understanding of the complex and cross-disciplinary issues facing cities. To proactively respond to this growing need, the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering offers the Master of Engineering in Cities Engineering and Management (MEngCEM) degree program.
