An undergraduate degree in the engineering discipline for which you are applying or in a related engineering or science discipline
A 3.00 or higher junior-senior grade point average
For international students, acceptable Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores Statement of Purpose/Objectives: Tell us why you want to pursue an advanced degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics and how it will help you further your career objectives. Usually, one page is sufficient.
R'sum: Outlining educational background, professional experience, awards, honors, and publications.
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation: Recommendation letters must be on business or personal stationery with an author's signature.

Official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Scores for International Students Only: ALL international students from non-English speaking countries are required to submit a TOEFL or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score. International applicants must take and submit scores for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System), with the exceptions noted below. The minimum acceptable score for the TOEFL is 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test, or a total score of 80 with a 19 on the speaking section for the Internet-based test (iBT). Applicants with iBT speaking scores between 15 and 18 may be considered for provisaaional admission, enrollment, and, if necessary, remedial course work.
