The Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering (ISE) offers graduate study leading to master's and doctoral degrees in Industrial Engineering (IE) and Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering (SEE). The program offers an approach to industrial engineering and systems engineering, engineering design, and entrepreneurial engineering that crosses disciplinary lines. The IE program is based in advanced studies that focus on operations research, optimization, supply chain management, financial engineering, quality and reliability engineering and production management, with the aim to advance modeling, simulation, analysis and decision making for complex engineering and economic systems.Students pursuing the PhD in Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering have the option of entering the program with a B.S. or MS degree. If entering with a B.S., students may earn their MS degree during the program or not at all.
