The Master of Science in Computer Engineering (MSCPE) is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in an engineering disciple who wish to pursue a graduate degree in computer engineering. The strengths of the NC State program include networking, VLSI systems and computer architecture and systems. The goals of our graduate program are producing graduate students who create new knowledge that projects a significant presence in national and international forums, graduating doctoral students obtain research positions in top academic, industrial, and government institutions, and funding all doctoral and a majority of master's students throughout their studies. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has as its mission the accumulation, generation, and dissemination of knowledge in Electrical and Computer Engineering.Central to the mission is a high quality research and educational program that benefits our students, the State of North Carolina, the nation and the world.
