Designed for those with an undergraduate degree in Engineering, the combined MBA/MEng Program positions you to take a leadership role in business.Faculty of Engineering has been at the forefront of research and innovation. With over 3,000 engineering students, over 130 teaching faculty, and eight engineering facilities on campus, the University of Alberta is one of the largest engineering schools in Canada. The Faculty has Canada's only undergraduate program in petroleum engineering and has committed to developing world-class research in such areas as pulp and paper technology and process control and micro-electro-mechanical systems.In Year One students study the key areas of business: accounting, economics, finance, management science, marketing, strategy and organizational behaviour. In Year Two the primary focus is on courses within the student's engineering discipline. Students select graduate level engineering courses from the appropriate engineering department: chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, materials, mining, mechanical or petroleum engineering.
