Learn relevant, up-to-date skills in the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of mechanical devices. You'll gain practical hands-on experience in Camosun's laboratories and CNC-equipped machine shop balanced with a solid grounding in English, math, physics and engineering concepts. This program differs from traditional Mechanical Engineering because of the focus on relevant applied skills. The program includes an emphasis on Computer-Aided-Design and Computer-Aided-Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, as well as an introduction to robotics and automation.
