Minimum score 550 on the paper-based (pBT) TOEFL. Some programs require 600 or better. Minimum score of 79 on the internet-based test (iBT), and minimum of 6.5 on IELTS.

UTEP’s new Doctor of Occupational Therapy program will prepare entry-level occupational therapists who will improve quality of life and reduce health disparities in the U.S.-Mexico borderland and beyond. Courses include foundational and clinical sciences, general occupational therapy evaluation, treatment and evidence-based practices, as well as research and occupation-based practices that incorporate cultural and contextual relevance.
