2. Your application will be considered by our selection panel who will create a shortlist of candidates based on their responses to the position description. The decision of the selection panel will be final.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview session designed to assess your suitability for joining the Academy and your aptitude for working with others to accomplish common goals.
Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 65%, all skills 65%
minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 75 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20
Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no communicative skills less than 50)
any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.

The Bachelor of Engineering Practice (Honours) offers a revolutionary approach to learning and skill development. From day one, you'll be taken out of the classroom and into the workplace in a higher education experience like no other. The first in Australia, this project-based curriculum - co-created and co-delivered by industry professionals - provides students with practical, professional experience and a work-ready skill set. For four years students undertake real-world projects in collaborative teams, mirroring professional environments in a departure from traditional lecture and tutorial style learning. Students are given the task of selecting their own roles and quickly develop the mind-sets required for professional success - agility, accountability, confidence and resilience - leading to strong employment outcomes.
