International applicants to Case Western Reserve follow the same deadlines and process as domestic students. CWRU also requires English translations, if applicable, for academic records and recommendations. After submitting their Common App or Coalition Application, students whose first language is not English must submit an English language exam score to Case Western Reserve via the testing agency, or students can submit self-reported scores by completing the form on their applicant portal. Enrolling students will confirm their testing with official score reports. IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT, including Home Edition and Paper Edition tests 90.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry degree program is designed for a student who seeks a solid background in chemistry in order to enter medical school or some other field related to chemistry. The program may also be enhanced by additional Chemistry Electives to provide the background necessary for admission to graduate programs in Chemistry. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is designed for a student who seeks a solid background in chemistry in order to enter medical school or some other field related to chemistry. The program may also be enhanced by additional chemistry electives to provide the background necessary for admission to graduate programs in chemistry. The BA degree can fulfill the requirements of the American Chemical Society (ACS) for ACS certification upon taking additional courses, including additional laboratory experience.<br><br>The BA program in chemistry is intended for pre-professional students who plan careers in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, or other fields for which a baccalaureate degree in chemistry provides appropriate training. BA majors may supplement their required courses with additional chemistry courses or may utilize the curriculum's flexibility to develop an interdisciplinary program of their choice. <br><br>The Department of Chemistry is part of the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. As common to all degree programs within the college, the BA degree candidates must fulfill 39 credits of coursework for the SAGES requirements. An additional 31-32 credit hours must be accumulated in chemistry courses. Additional credits of math and science courses must also be taken. The remaining 45-46 credits are available for electives to allow the student to either specialize in pre-professional areas or to earn a second degree.
