Chemistry is fundamental to many scientific disciplines, and it helps us understand other physical and life sciences. Often referred to as the ?central science,? chemistry is the bridge between physics, mathematics, and biology. At Widener, students receive the intellectual background to understand how chemistry explains the workings of the natural world. Students also participate in active learning environments that include undergraduate research.
