High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma.
International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post secondary institution (college/university).
U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work).
TOEFL score of at least 520 (paper) or 68 (internet) is required. Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.0. in each band of the IELTS is required.

Pharmaceutical chemistry is the branch of chemistry that combines pharmacology and organic chemistry. To prepare students for careers in pharmacy and pharmaceutical chemistry, the Department of Chemistry at Pittsburg State University offers a four-year Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Chemistry and Emphasis in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.<br><br>To meet the requirements of this emphasis, a student studies at Pittsburg State University for the first two years, after which the remaining requirements for the baccalaureate degree are fulfilled upon satisfactory completion of another two years of an accredited pharmacy school curriculum.
