One subject from Group A, B, C or D
IELTS Academic - Minimum overall band score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 5.5 in each band. TOEFL-Internet-Based Test (iBT) - Minimum total score of 86 and a minimum score of 21 in each section. PTE - Academic Minimum overall score of 59 and a minimum score of 56 in each band.

Learn to interpret your world from multiple perspectives with a physical sciences major. Earth and planetary sciences, chemistry and physics-the future of science is multidisciplinary. A broad scientific knowledge base enables you to solve problems more effectively, understand intersections, influences and connections more fully, and discover innovative solutions more readily. From the discovery of new exoplanets and particles to advances in environmental restoration and laboratory analysis techniques, we constantly update our programming with new scientific discoveries-and social and political events.<br><br>In the physical sciences major, you delve into current and relevant research in the fields of chemistry, physics, and earth and planetary sciences. You take courses in all three disciplines, but eventually focus your studies on two areas of interest and supplement your understanding with six credits of courses in the third discipline. In your first year, you learn foundational principles that you build throughout your degree. As you advance through the program, you are immersed in hands-on learning and research. With access to state-of-the-art technology, including robotic telescopes and our very own nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer, there are no limits to where your ideas can take you. At the senior level, you collaborate with committed teachers and skilled researcher-mentors who help you present your ideas at conferences and in published articles. By the end of your studies, you are prepared for a career in a range of science industries or to progress toward graduate studies in your chosen field of study.
